Here is a photo of my favorite beach!Do you have your favorite beach?

How lovely it must be to just get away from all the hectic life and leave it all behind for a secluded island beach like this one ! A great picture as well. I also have a favorite beach,it is situated in Fish Hoek, Cape Town, South Africa...and is lovely and peaceful, and one can often see the whales from there at certain times of the year. I dont mind the Robinson Crusoe lifestyle, at least I think I would love it...except for the spiders and creepy crawleys, that is :)

With more than one favorite beach, I do have one all time favorite. On a small Island, that I wish could say was without habitants as well. Sandy, sunny and with wildlife from web feet to hooves. The Greatest Place On Earth!

I haven't been much of a beach goer, but I think there are several beaches that are quite beautiful such as hawaii's beaches are just georgeous! I see that you forgot your picture and saw the other post lol!

Greetings my friend... I haven't been on line much this week because I have been busy with work commitments and nursing an injured knee. Thanks for your e-mail and I look forward to keeping in touch...and maybe taking you up on your offer some day. After seeing this gorgeous getaway in your photo I am even more inspired to visit your beautiful country. It is still very touching to me that you are so open about an invite. Being able to 'rough' it once in awhile is fun...especially when the surroundings are so idyllic. Anyway I rated and commented on your picture..loved it! I have a couple of favorite beaches. The ones in Nassau in the Bahamas are lovely. Closer to home my favorite beach is Grand Beach on the eastern shore of Lake Winnipeg. It has been rated as among the ten best in the world. Warm sandy beaches, the sound of waves crashing on the shore...seagulls....ahhhh beaches aren't they wonderful. I have included a photo of Grand Beach. Lovely topic...take care until we chat again... I used to have a favorite... my Pop built a cabin on a small island off out coast. He ferried everything over, and built it by hand. I have wonderful memories of going there as a teen, and then taking our kids later on. There was a woodstove after a while, so we had a bit of luxury, but I loved boiling crab on the beach... it tastes the best that way. The cause was never found, but the cabin burned about 6 yrs ago, and there was nothing left. It took away the rest of my Pop's joy of life, since he'd lost his wife 2 yrs before that. He passed away in 2005. The property went to the hospice people who were with us through his final days.

Wow that looks nice. we dont usally do stuff like that . We do go camping some this summer .Back in the woods on state land. I would love to be able to go to a place like that. My husband and i would both loe to go to a place like that.
