Are you quick to pass judgement on those who don't share your faith.. or those who have no faith at all? If we are people of faith..we know we shouldn't condemn others just because we don't like their practices.. In the end it will not be us to decide what happens after life.

I don't easily lay judement, I know that it is not me nor us to decide as we don't have any right to. Maybe we could leave the judgement on those who's works are somehow related to it, like those police officers and judges on courts. It is unfair to name someone and accuse them of something, the best thing to do is to keep our mouth's shut and learn our lessons well..

I think you are totally off topic..I am referring to labelling the actions of people of faith.

That is what I'm also trying to say, I just put it in general. I only given an example on what you said, the same thought is what I feel on people who judges one's belief or faith.

Hello! Mostly I don't pass any judgement on people, but when I do I do it based on my observation on their behaviour, thinking, nature, etc. I don't judge them on their beliefs because different people have different beliefs and its not neccessary that people have same beliefs are totally same as a person.

But even with someone's behavior we dont know the whole story behind it..wouldn't you agree?

Yes, I agree. But by behaviour I don't mean behaviour at a glnce but constant behaviour.

I am not quick to pass judgement on anyone. The Bible plainly tells us not to be judgemental.God is everyone's judge not me.If we feel like someone is in err our job is to pray about it.If we can't except different religions or faiths down here on earth how are we going to make it to Heaven.I am very strong in what I believe as far as religion goes but I do take in consideration that other people don't believe the way I do.

Nope, I don't pass judgement on people based on faith. It really doesn't affect me what anyone else's faith is, or isn't. All that matters to me is how people treat themselves, each other, and the world. I know what my beliefs are, and they are very strong, and I am actually a very religious and spiritual person. However, I have no need to push those beliefs on others, or try to get others to see things my way. It's not my place to choose someone else's path from them, or try to lead them away from the path they have chosen for themselves.

What an excellent response. I dont think anyone should make fun of other faiths for their practices.. I do believe if one has a conviction or faith ...they should give their whole heart and soul in this belief..and if others want to make fun of their convictions..it makes them no less people of faith.

Exactly! Even if people do make fun or put you down because of your beliefs, if you have true faith, you can make it through. I've spent a large part of my life being discriminated against or treated badly over people not liking my beliefs, but I am still proud of them, and still faithful. =)

First of all..According to the Holy book, It is boldly written, Though Shall not Judge and you will not be Judged.. A true believer does not or is not supposed to let his/her anger speak in every situation he finds himself with those without Faith. The bottom line is we are not the owner of the life we live so at the end of the day, someone decided about our lives, So my advice to those with such act, is they should reverse their strategy and know more, go deeply into thier belive and find out more about the right thing to do as a true believer.

I guess every one has their own beliefs. We should always respect other on what they belief just like how we expect others to respect us. We should always be neutral when it comes to things like these...especially on beliefs and religion. We shouldn't make any quick judgment on anyone at all. This is what I belief.

I don't judge other people's beliefs in their faith as long as it doesn't affect others in the negative. Everyone should be able to practise their faith. Each one has a different view and I feel we should respect that just as we expect others to respect our beliefs.

No I dont pass judgement on ppl of other faiths and beliefs and never would...Reality is, though some ppl have SIMILAR beliefs as I do, my path is solely mine and there is nobody who believes exactly as I do adn thats as it should be..I DO however have low tolerance for those that DO pass judgement on others...I have little to no patience for such arrogance.

Do you mean that I consider that God will let them into Heaven as well as those Christians HE has chosen since the beginning of time, no unless they repent and come to the knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ and accept HIM as their Lord and Savior. If they do wrong, then I will say they have done wrong, but if they do right, no matter what belief or lack of belief they do right, I will say they did the right thing, but will feel sorry that God has not as yet opened their hearts. I also believe that there are standards we should follow and if it is not right for me, for example, to pierce my skin with knives to worship God ,then it is not right for even the people who worship idols to do so. So all faiths do not lead to God, only the true faith and I have it.

Well, I dont. Usually I just listen to them and exchange beliefs but I believe that I am not always at the position to judge anybody, esp those whom with different beliefs. I know that maybe they would be thinking of the same thing... that I am wrong. So for me, as long as there is no harm into it, I just respect him or her beliefs and just listen to him or her.

If I may join this discussion, I would like to add a few points to what you have said. The first thing is, a wise person would never pass judgement on other's faiths. Rather he or she would see the common truth between different faiths. As God is one, only the paths defined by different masters have different styles of expressions and different ways of attaining him. And the one who condemns other faiths or the one who says only their particular faith is the right one and all others are wrong is a fool. One must respect all faiths and also try to see the common bridge between them. And that common bridge is nothing but universal truth and that universal truth is the ever conscious, ever existent, ever new bliss, which is God. And what will happen after life, is just an idea or a hypothesis. Neither have you seen it, nor have I. But as long as we live, it is for us to decide to live in the now, and be the now and realise the now. If we know the now, then automatically, there will be no differences between different faiths and cults.

I firmly believe that we have no right to condemn or judge people who do not share our faith or belief. Each to one's own-It is for the individual to choose his faith and have his conviction. Similarly, I would not be dissuaded from my beliefs It is not for others to change my fundamental convictions. When I can't tolerate intrusion, I have to realise that I can only treat others the same way I would have them treat me.I have no right to pass judgement on others.

No, I am not and I resent it when someone is that way toward me. To me, my faith is something that is private and not something I wear on my sleeve or try to force on others and I expect to be treated the same way. I have a very simple "Live and let live" philosophy of life and believe in the Golden Rule -"Do unto others as you would have them do unto you". I think that says it all and if we all just lived by that one rule we'd all be better off. Annie
