Do you check your My Lot private messages more than your email?

For awhile I was very active on My Lot and made hundreds of posts weekly. And, so I had lots of private messages from other members. Sometimes they were really nice and encouraging. Others were just spam and that was totally annoying.
For the most part, it was just plain time consuming to weed through the My Lot private message mail box and find messages from real friends that I wanted to read. Sometimes it would take up to an hour at a time to find what I was looking for.
I think I spent more time going through private messages than I did checking my own email daily. Not so much anymore. Now I get just a few private messages. But, unfortunately, I've started spending more time checking my Gmail account. And, that's become time consuming as well.
What about you? Do you spend more time checking your My Lot private messages, than your regular email? Or, do you depend on your email to stay up with your My Lot friends?

Hi,
i dont get much pvt msg on MYLot mail. and i only visit it when i got message from mylot that i have pvt message.
to connect with my friend i have GMAIL as well as yahoo and MSN Messengers and mails so i check them regulary, daily or twice a day. My lot is good for discussion

Actually...i use mylot not more offen...but i also receive more private messages..some may be nice but other may not be..even though i dont know who is tat i wil respond to them..any way its entertaining and also one thing,,dont believe others tats wat i hav learnt from this..

I check my Private Message and mail from dear friends before doing anything else. I try to reply to mails and PMs first before responding to any discussions or before looking for replies to my discussions.
I love to receive PMs and vice versa and I find it is a very useful tool to come closer to your dear friends...and it gives a kind of personal touch to your relationship with your friends and that closeness gets reflected when they posts their replies to my discusisons and vice versa.

i check out mylot everyday i can acces internet so i check it as often as i check my email.i open the both pages each time

I seldom receive private message here. So I don't have the problem with it for the time being. My day in the office starts with checking both my office and personal e-mails. I try to keep in touch with my friends here by checking my e-mail which I created just for My Lot and for a few of them, I have their messenger IDs.

Hahaha,lol.I NEVER receive private messages.So i check my email all the time to see what delights my friends are starting,hehe.

I don't get many mylot messages so I use my email to catch up on discussions and sorts. I don't like it when its overused for spamming though. I had to delete a friend today after asking them not to do it and they still did.

I actually do check my messages here on mylot more than my email..when I do check my email I always have like over a hundred emails...then it takes me forever to go threw it and get rid of all the junk crap and read everything that my friends send to me...but I do spend most of my time here on mylot anyways so I think what I get here on my messages...

I hardly ever check either, actually! I mostly just respond to discussions & post stuff sometimes, but hardly ever read my private messages.
