If you saw a ghost, would you tell anyone?

I've seen a lot of amazing (and weird) things in my life. But, I don't think I've ever seen a ghost. Some people say they are real. And, others say they are a figment of Hollywood. I don't know what's true. But, if I did ever see a ghost, I am not sure I would share the experience with too many people. Someone might think I was crazy, or lying. Either way, it would definitely be a private experience. What would you do if you saw a ghost? Would you tell everyone? Or, keep it to yourself? Would your friends or family believe you?

First we know that there is no such thing as a ghost in the world. That is only imaginative. Suppose there were a ghost that I could see one day, I think that I would be scared to see one and for sure I would let my friends know about it. I won't keep it as a secret.

How do you know there is no such thing? I believe 100% that there are. I've never seen a "ghost" as we know it, but I know I lived with one! For example, my old roommate & I were constantly arguing over the last piece of whatever food we had. If it was sitting on the kitchen counter, without fail, it would end up on the floor while we argued over who got it. We had no pets, and I have always been one to push things all the back on the counter because I did have pets as a kid. This would happen EVERY time we argued over something. We would also have spikes the same size & shape as a curved finger growing on every single ice cube in our freezer. This is just a couple of the MANY unexplainable things that would happen regularly! So I do know there IS such thing as ghosts and I also know several people that will say the same thing!

Hi williamjisir, nice to chat with you again. I am skeptical that ghosts exist as well. However, many people swear they have seen ghosts. I cannot be sure for myself as I have never seen one. If I did see one, I am sure I would be very scared. However, I do not think they could do any harm to us. After all, they would be the spirits of our loved ones that have gone on before, come back to visit.

Well,I have to make a difficult choice. This would be an horrible experience, and I should tell others about this to avoid certain dangers. But it's also unbelievable, and most people would think i were just lying. I think i told my friends at most if i did not have proof. If i had,I'm sure i would tell veryone

Yes and maybe they don't see what I saw. Yes I always believe in ghost and I believe that there are many spirit surround us in this world. And I believe also that the spirit of our love are here in our side to protect us and guide us everytime we are in trouble and I know that there are spirit that are bad and there spirit are good.

Hahaha! After waking up from fainting, I would probably rush off and tell my mother who will then insist we pray for my immortal soul. Afterwards, I would tell a few very close friends, write an article for a magazine about it before finally just wondering if it was a figmentn of my imagination or otherwise! LoL! I think those closest to me would believe me as they would know that I wouldnt lie about things like that but others... you cant blame sceptics. I would be extremely sceptical myself unless it was my very own eyes which saw 'something'.

this is quite a difficult one and I am as confused as most. This is a long debate between science and philosophy, between modern beliefs and ancient rituals. As we all know, ancient civilizations were no fools and most of them had accomplished more than we can ever imagine in all fields of science, architecture, metallurgy, astronomy, complex arithmetic (just to mention a few). Yet, all these civilizations not only believed in afterlife but promoted it as an integral part of human journey. So its kind of difficult to believe that people with such advanced knowledge in most things, would goof up on this one. Yet in my lifetime, I am yet to come across anyone who has actually seen anything supernatural or any scientific explanation even for the existence of soul (let alone ghosts). Philosophically speaking, ghosts may have been conjured up to create a fear of the unknown among the masses by unscrupulous people for their own gain, but the same may then be said about God. We have no scientific proof of any of these, yet these are time-tested beliefs and faiths which have held together people and communities for centuries. I think they are here to stay with us as long as the human race walks the earth.

I think I would share it with only people who are close to me and I care about. I do not see the point in telling others I do not associate with on a regular basis like co-workers or distant relatives for example.

I would tell my friends and family for sure. They are all pretty open minded and I feel safe they wouldnt judge me to harshly even if they did think I was crazy about the whole thing. We have weird things happen in our home every now and again. People are more curious than anything.

LOL like you if I have saw a ghost I am not sure I would share that with that many people. I would probably keep it within my closest circle of friends and my hubby. ANd even so I would probably edit my story a bit :) WOUld they believe me? I"m not sure it depends on how convincing I would be LOL

Hello beautyqueen26, I will definitely tell my close friends and family. Whether they think that I am crazy or not, it is up to them. But I would definitely like to share my horror experience with them. I never see a ghost and touch wood! I never hope to see one. But if it happens to me, I think it is a valuable experience too *smiles* I just wonder whether is it true that a ghost looks pale and wearing all white?

I have seen a ghost but it was a bit different. I had a daughter that was terminally ill as an infant and I was snapping pictures every chance I got to preserve her memory. I took some pictures in her hospital room one day. She and I were the only 2 people in the room at the time. This was back in the "old days" where camera's actually took film. So I took the film in to a one hour photo place and wandered around the shop enjoying my break from being in the hospital. When they gave me my pictures I looked them over. In several photos in our hospital room, there was an older woman in a beautiful blue dress with a gorgeous shawl. She was sitting by my daughters bed and cradling my daughter. Now when I took the pictures only my daughter and I were in the room. But in the photograph this woman was clearly there beside my daughter and holding her in one picture. I asked the place I was developing the film at if they had somehow superimposed another photo onto mine. They pointed out to me that I had several picutes of this woman. I have shared this story many a time and have personally concluded that it was my daughters guardian angel....though many still insist it was a ghost.

I will definitely tell someone about. Things like seeing a ghost is not something you see everyday, so it will surely be a big story if it is shared with anyone who is interested to listen.

I will tell my close friends and my family about it if I see a ghost. Because this is absolutely a very extraordinary experience. I need to share it with someone else. Because they know I won't tell a lie to them and they can be trustworthy.

Definitely. After I catch my breath that is... They say if you see a ghost, you cant really talk so I guess it would take time before I will be able to tell anyone. But I will certainly tell people about that experience... Awooooo.

If I saw a ghost,I wouldn't tell anyone unless many friends sit together and tell stories about ghost and at that time I would tell my experience as a story to them. Therefore I could share my experience and they wouldn't be pavid or laugh at me.So if I could not help to telling others,I would tell it as a story.

I would definately tell people. I think I would initially be quite frightened and stay quiet but after reflecting on what I had seen then I would have to tell somebody. I don't think I would tell everyone as so many people are skeptical these days of everything. I dont think I could last long without telling anyone though. It would be quite exciting but rather scary too if I ever did see one!
