Have you ever slept on silk or satan sheets? Well Ive always wanted to so I got the pillow cases only. Because I couldnt afford the sheets.LOL And I heard you slip right off them.LOL I love the pillow cases. And they look so pretty. Of course I got pink. Someday I will get the sheets too. They really do feel great.

I had to look twice at this, cause I couldn't understand why you'd want satan pillowcases. I'd be scared to sleep on them. lol I realized that you meant satin, and it was an error, after a minute or so. It would be so nice if we could go back in and fix these, as I've had so many misspelling I would like to have fixed. I have never had satin ones, but I don't know if I'd lke them, they're slippery. lol I'm a cotton person. Take care.

LOL - sorry hun but you really had me giggling.
I have two sets of satin bed sheets and pillow cases, one in black and one in purple. They are gorgeous but they can be a bit of a nuisance and they are a bit slippery. They do feel good though :-)

Ah--you made my day...I couldn't stop laughing...sorry about that--don't you just wish we could go back and edit our boo-boos?
I don't know..about SATIN sheets or pillowcases...I keep thinking in the back of my mind how easy it would be for my kitties to make pulls or snags with their claws with them--much different story that regular sheets--no??

Hi Terry,
Im afraid Im more of a cotton gal myself. lol I like the higher thread count cotton sheets. I had some silk sheets once, and I just didnt like them. Id rather not go into the details, but they just didnt work for me. lol
I didnt slip off them, so thats a myth. Unless I just weigh to much, which could be a possibility! : )

Was your spelling of 'satin' a Freudian slip? LOL.
Years ago, when women visited the haidresser to get a 'hairdo', they used a satin pillowcase so that their hair would stay in place. They could go out Friday AND Saturday night with their hair looking fabulous...all teased and hair sprayed....lol.
Satin sheets were also considered quite decadent and even risque.
I slept on satin sheets for the first time in 2005, it was a lovely feeeling.

I did try them, I found that they did not make your hair flat, but did not buy any. I do not suppose with them being expensive and me married to a man, he would prefer to have something so luxurious. So we still have our regular percale sheets, one in a beige with mini flowers, and the others, in a geometric turquoise pattern.
So for now the satin sheets are just a hoped for.

Oh my gosh, I thought you were asking if I'd been sleeping on sheets from Satan, LOL. Yes, I have slept on satin sheets, but they weren't mine. I was a guest. I liked the satin better than the silk. I seemed to slide offf the silk, LOL.

Hi TerryZ,
I don't have any satin pillow cases, or sheets. I have never slept on them either so I might have to give it a try sometime! Hopefully I won't slip and slide all over the place too much lol.

Yep, you slip right off of them! It's really funny. I was like you and just had to have them. I think we ended up throwing them away. You may want to save your money. Buy more pillowcases..hehe!

I had a set of satin sheets with pillow cases once and I never woke up with my pillow. I always managed to shoot it off the end of the bed. They were nice sheets, but this was annoying since I didn't have a headboard. I was constantly fishing around on the floor looking for my pillow.

Actually, I have never had Satan sheets. They would probably be pretty hot and prickly... (hee hee)

Lol, um Satan pillowcases????? I had to read through the discussions and see that you meant, satin. I was like um, no I'd never want to sleep on satan pillow cases let a lone own Satan Pillowcases. Lol. But I just see that you missed spelled them and I was like okay whew , lol. I've never slept on Satin pillowcases though, I don't think I've even owned any, but I figured it would be nice to sleep on Satin pillow cases and not Satan pillowcases.
