I have a Prayer Request, and I knew I could count on my friends here on Mylot. My mom is having heart surgery in the morning. We are both worried and scared. She has a pace maker/defibulator, she has had it for close to 2 yrs. Right now it doesn't do anything unless its needed. When she had the original surgery done, they had trouble putting the 3rd lead in. Her heart is getting weaker and they want to start pacing her heart. They have to expose her heart, to get the lead into her heart. They have to split the ribs in order to screw the lead in, then they have to thread the lead up to the pacer and hook it up. They want to start pacing the heart, she has several serious things wrong with her heart. She has 2 valves leaking inside her heart. They could fix that, but her left ventricle part of her heart is so damaged, they don't feel she would survive the surgery. There is nothing they can do about the left ventricle, except put her on a transplant list. So you see why we would be worried and scared and why I need your prayers. Hey, I wl definiteyl pray for your mom. I m so sad to hear wat she has to go thru. I m very close to my mom, n would imagine my state if I would be in your shoes.Definitely I wl pray for your mom.Dont worry, she wl go thru this fine. Gos is with u.Take care,,n be positive!

I commend you for using Mylot as a channel for your prayer request. I commend you even more for believing in the power of prayer, for it is written that "when two or more are gathered in His name..there He is in the midst of them". Our Good Lord is the Greatest Physician, just put your trust entirely on Him. The doctors may claim that part of her heart is so damaged...it may be so, but if you pray with all your heart in Jesus name...I know she's healed. Faith can move mountains, and it is that same faith that will heal your mother. Our prayers go with you.

Thanks so much for your prayers, thoughts and kindness. I see that you are new here on mylot. The longer you stay here the more you will see we do truly get to care for one another. We become "friends". When you have troubles, who do you go to for help, your friends. Welcome to mylot and I hope you stick around and get to know us. Thanks again.

i m really sorry to hear what happened with your mom. i wish she will be good after the surgery. no need to much worry my dear, GOD will hear your praying :)

I am not what you would refer to as a committed religious person in the normal sense as I have a combination of my own beliefs; however I do wish your Mother and your family all the blessings I can possibly muster. May God surround you all in his golden light of protection and keep you all safe from all that is against natural, physical or universal law. I hope that everything turns out OK.

Oh bless your heart Polly, i am so sorry that your Mom is having all these problems with her heart...I will pray for her that God will lead the doctors hands in the right places and that she will come out of this surgery well.I know just how you feel because I have been just where you are at now with My Mom..My mother had many prayers said for her and she came through and the doctors said it was a miracle,and your Mom can be a miracle too..I pray that God will keep his hand on your Mom during this surgery,and may God give you peace over this...God Bless!I do Not Know your Moms name but God does and i will pray for her..Keep us posted on her condition...

Thanks so much for your prayers. My moms surgery went well, her name is Pat. She is now in recovery. Way back when, after her heart attack when the docs basically didn't think she would recover much. She bounced back and even was able to go back to work. Her docs told her that she must really go to a good church. They never expected her to recover as much as she did. I so much believe in prayer, it does work. There have been lots of people praying for her. She is on several prayer vines and I told her I was asking my mylot buddies to prayer for her too. She said thank you to all. Its a nice feeling to know that so many prayers are being said for someone you love. Thanks again.

Aw Polly, my heart is with you. I'm sure we ALL will say prayers and send best wishes for an uneventful normal surgery and a quick recovery for your dear Mother. It's scary watching our loved ones go through this kind of thing. I will keep her in my prayers. Please stop back in here every now and again and let us know how she progresses? I'm sending you a 'virtual' sister-hug.

I'm so glad to hear that she's doing well! Also glad that you'll be going home to help her as she recovers. We will miss hearing from you while you won't be able to get online. My prayers are still with you and your Mom, and I said 'Thanks' for him listening to our prayers. I tried writing at least three times yesterday to reply, but I was on my old '98 in the bedroom and it just kept freezing up every time myLot tried to load up (The only times it froze was when I was trying to get into Yahoo, and myLot...go figger?!) So, today I'm trying the XP in the living room. Wishing your Mom health, a speedy recovery, and not too much discomfort!

Hi Vicky that is a very serious operation, I pray that she will be a Ok, God please make Vicky Mother well, give her the strength to handle this Major sugery make her well and healthy. Prayer does help I will be praying for your Mother. May she get well soon and be up and around, and continue to do the things she enjoy doing with her Family and Friends.

Thanks so much Marcie, my mom is done with surgery. Things went well, she is hurting but that is expected. She should be in the hospital a few days, after she goes home I plan on going and staying with her. She doesn't have a computer so I won't be online during that time. Hey guess who started a discussion yesturday, our old buddy Chunkers, I told him you were asking about him. He said to tell you hi. I'm not sure how good I am at praying and I don't know the outcome of the surgery as I'm catcing up. I so hope the outcome was good. I've said some prayers for you and your Mum and I hope you find the comfort and peace you must need, Blessed be.

hi polly i can pray for her dear lord ipray that pollys mum gets stronger with this opertation and may god help her during this time.
i pray that you heal her lord so she does not need a transplant lord pray in jesus name amen.
