http://www.cnn.com/2007/POLITICS/10/22/dyncorp.spending/index.html?iref=mpstoryview The US State Department cannot account for the approximate $1.2 billion funding alloted to Dyncorp for the training of Iraqi troops. In relation, defense corporations' stock prices have risen steadily. Is the Iraq War based on economic interests (besides oil)?

Yes there are parts of it that are based on something like this. Ever hear of the contract shenanigans? Or was it just me and few others that heard of the Blum - Feinstein double dealings!? Its also why there aren't as many empty flapping heads denouncing the war on anti-progress/Congress hill (some of them are probably getting a share somewhere in the whole thing -_-). There are also others too, I know haven't reached the surface but enough digging and they'll show up. Some profiting going on with some of the figureheads and on another front some nice political posturing with a good touch of smoke and mirrors for the casual viewer.
