it's never a surprising thing to hear that a girl is being dumped by her boyfriend. i did that once to my girl before. so, why then am i asking this? i just want to listen to your views. 'coz you see, i have this plan on breaking up with my present girlfriend. i just don;t think we can go on pretending that we still love each other.'coz i can feel that there's no more love at all. but i don't want to hurt her. tell me how? what should i do?

From personal experiences of my friends, if you wanna break up with somebody, better also honestly state the reasons why. I've had two friends going crazy 'coz they didn't know why their loved ones broke up with them. Then they had a hard time trying to find out what was wrong with themselves. It's always easier on the dumpee if he/she knows what went wrong so that he/she can move on quickly.

i think it is okay. it is better to end a relationship that's not going anywhere anymore rather than continuing with it and pretending. it would hurt the girl more to find out that the last weeks/months of their relationship was just pretense. You don't want to hurt her? the hurt is inevitable. but it will be less, if you break up with her earlier rather than wait a long time.

well. being concerned bout how she'd feel certainly puts a certain tone on your feelings...in a break-up, no one actually wins, and no one walks away scot-free and feel good afterwards. because you either got hurt or had hurt the person you once loved. both of you know what you need. a little space from each other wouldnt hurt. but if this is really what you think both of you should do, then God speed to both of you. In time, wounds would heal and tears would stop flowing, but as long as there is pain, there is still love... God bless you.
