***fake emails - fake checks - lottery scams***

I've come across quite a few discussions on Mylot which deal with people receiving an email telling them they have won a lottery of some sorts.... And, I've also seen many discussions on people selling items and the person who purchased their item wants to send them an e-check.... Also, some Scams with work at home jobs include sending back a partial payment.... Here's a website that gives you tips and advice if this has ever happened to you..........I am not affiliated with this site in any way.... ......www.fakechecks.org...... It includes fraud testing, video's, and of course prevention......... I hope this will bring some light to the many questions I've seen over and over here on the Mylot website........ Thats a good site. I use to get fake emails saying I won the lottery I remember the first time I recived one I thought it was real because I never knew about these fake scams since I never got it before. I was also pretty happy lol. But I found out a week after it was a scam and im glad I didnt give them my money which they asked to bring the cash over.

So many people fall for this it amazes me. I think alot of people play games online and then they receive these emails and think they're legitimate.....but, the funny thing is, they don't remember playing a lottery. I'm very happy you didn't fall for that scam as so many other people have.......so sad we all have to put up with this crap.
