Well friends, I got my MRI results back. I have two bulging disks and disk degeneration. There isn't much we can do at this point. My doc is going to refer me to a pain management specialist and hopefully that will do the trick because at the moment I am safe to say I don't need surgery. Which I must add this makes me very happy but I am sad to say that I have to stay on pain meds a little longer. This really drives me crazy for the fact I hate pills and also I would like to enjoy a hockey game without being medicated ha ha. Anyhow thank you all that responded. It made me feel good to know there are people that care. Soon as I get a little time I will respond to some of your writings as well. Thank you again. Me

Some of the products mentioned in this car accident blog might help you out. They are listed as specifically for people injured in car accidents but I have seen a bunch of these products and they are great for anyone. http://activeforever.blogspot.com/ . Sorry to hear you have to stay on pain meds longer. I can't stand them. Not having to go through surgery is good though.

Hi, You can try Homeopathy.Instead of pain killers, I think you should start taking homeopathic medicines after consultation with a homeopathic doctor and detail case taking. Visit www.prohomeopathy.com, www.hhomeopathy.com.

Have you tried contacting a chiropractor or osteopath about your back? They may be able to help with the problem - also massage is great at helping to manage pain rather than relying on medication all the time.
