Have you ever been in an infommerical?

I haven't been able to sleep very well for the last week and am staying up far too late. I flick around on the tv and see tons and tons of infommericals. There are so many testimonials of "real" people who lost weight, got fit, found their true love, made the best dried fruit or pot roast. People who just never knew how they lived before being able to air tight sealing their clothes or built their dream home using the only tool set you'll ever need. People who are really 150 years old but with this "out of this world skin care line" look 16 again. I was wondering if any of you ever did a testimonial for a infommerical or advertising? Were you paid? Get free amazing product free or discounted? Do you think these people are real or actors?
