help!!im new here

Gee, there isn't a whole lot I can add here. Just one thing about the ratings...I think some people use the negative rating if they don't agree with someone or if they don't "like" their views on things and this really isn't the purpose of the ratings. I like to try to tell new members this right off the bat because it's something that's easy to misunderstand when you're just starting out here. We're here to have discussions and you can't really have a discussion without more than one take on an issue. To me the negative is used only if a poster is truly abusive to me or someone else, as in name-calling or outright insults. But if you start a discussion saying, for example "I like "A" but can't stand "B" and someone responds that they feel the opposite, that's not grounds for a negative rating according the the guidelines. Now, if they say, "If you like "A" you're a stupid moron", well that's different...lol! You won't make a ton of money here but it's nice to make a few extra bucks while enjoying yourself, at least that's how I look at it. I usually make my $10 pay-out each month and it goes right to my Paypal account like clockwork. That's more than can be said for many other sites! Welcome and enjoy! Annie
