I was coming home from New York. I got on the turnpike and went to the first service plaza which was still in New York I think. I was expecting to see the gas price to be really high because they always are on the turnpike. But when my gas was being pumped it said that is had 10% ethanol. When I got home to Pennsylvania the price was at least 20 cents more. High Gas prices have been a problem every where. So why don't they offer gas with any ethonal everywhere else? Do you have ethanol in your gas where you live?

I have heard there are a few service stations here in Melbourne Australia with it but i have never understood if this is good or bad, no-body seems to be able to figure it all out...

Thanks for responding. My understanding about it was that it would be cheaper to fill up your tank. But whether it is better for the environment I have no idea. Nowadays I am looking for anything that will help me save money.
