What do you say for Water in your language?

I am from India and our national language is hidi and we say pani for water.

I am in China and we use Chinese Input method so I can type Chinese in the text.You can download some software about Chinses Input method from the Interenet so you can do that as me.By the way,can you speak Chinese?

Even I am an Indian and we will say it pani. But in India we are using different languages in different parts of the country.

Hi sreejithsreenivas! I am from the Philippines and our national language is Tagalog. Water in our national language is Tubig. We have several dialects being spoken here in our country and in my dialect which is Kapampangan, Water is Danum. I hope you will have fun memorizing these. hehe.. Take care and have a nice day.

hi... it's "tubig" in tagalog but for my dialect, it's "tu-bi"... but i am of mix race so i can say it in fookien as "chuoy"...hehehe...

I am from Indonesia (mother language Bahasa Indonesia), we said water "air". But i live in the Netherlands (my second language Dutch), we said water also "water".

As what some of my fellow Filipinos said here, in the Philippines water is "tubig" in our national language and it is still the same in my dialect (Cebuano). Philippines is composed of several dialects.

In Chile we speak spanish, and we say agua for water.
