do you like to tan? or do you prefer white creamy skin?

hi... i am fair-skinned but i usually have headaches when i stay out under the sun, except, of course, when going swimming, which i love. my culture prefers women to have white creamy skin and it's like watching ads on tv, there are always on ads that promotes product of skin bleaching and whitening. i dont go for this products coz i am naturally born with white skin but sometimes, i wonder what's the craze all about? i really like the golden brown hue of tanned people... and most people where i lived are blessed with natural golden brown color...hehehe... what about you?

I don't like to sit in the sun or use self tanning creams/lotions.
I am happy with my white skin.

i don't have fair complexion and i am not exactly tan either. i have a rather yellowish complexion, which sometimes looks unhealthy, especially if i havent been out of the house for a few days.
when i was younger, i used to get tans by sunbathing at the beach. then my skin would look really nice and tanned. but because of the ultraviolet rays and its harmful effects, i would rather stay indoors...hehhe

In our country, having a white creamy skin means beautiful. We have so many beauty products to make you white. So tan color skin is not popular here, it seems you come from the countryside. So I prefer to have a white cream skin:)

I like both as long as I don't get sunburnt and as long as there are no acnes on my face ha ha ha ha ha...As long as my skin's not too needy (read: sensitive), I don't mind either way. ;-D
Yeah, in Indo people are also blessed with tan skin but the media always keep on portraying all those white girls...so people are crazy about whitening products. But here in Finland you can NEVER find any whitening products and they envy those people with tanned skins. Life is funny he he he he...
