babies thrown away to die in dumpsites? i just saw in the news today two cases of children's death. one was a premature baby still alive but thrown in a dumpsite to die. the baby was rescued by a good samaritan and was taken to a hospital. they found out that it was premature with underdeveloped lungs. sadly, the baby died. second was a child, one to two years old found dead on the streets seemingly beaten to death and thrown away. my heart just ached so badly after watching the news. how could the parents let bad things happen to their children? i mean, if they dont want any responsibilities of raising kids, then why make them in the first place? those children are helpless and they cant defend themselves. they should be protected and not hurt them. this would lead me to wishing that i was superhuman with super high tech detector which can detect if an adult is hurting or trying to hurt a helpless child. i woud fly then to the scene and punish the adult and save the child. or if i dont have that detector, i might as well be a darn good investigator, find the culprit of these child death cases, and punish them on my own like a vigilante.

It's sickening. It would be nice if we all had the superpower to detect if someone is abusing children. Of course we would need the ability to get to them and stop the adult(s). When I hear about these crimes I feel like a soup mixed with sickness, sorrow, disgust and anger. ‹(°¿°)›

Well, I am a mother of two. And just like you guys, my heart really feel bad for the kids that experience cruelty from their own parents. I am a disciplinarian, and I could say that in one way, there are times that I really get mad but I try hard not to be in the point of cruelty. I love my kids... and I want them to grow knowing the limitations of what they can do as parents.

When I hear about a baby or a small child being killed or thrown away, I get very angry especially since I am an adopted parent and the girl who had carried my two sons could have easily thrown them out in the garbage when they were born. I do wonder what kind of parents these are, especially when you can give your baby to a convent or a hospital anonymously if you did not want everyone to know or for there to be an investigation. I also wish that the punishments for those who beat their children be more severe and that they do not return the child believing that it was a one time thing and they should have another chance. I wish that there was an international organization that would protect these kids and take them away from their bad parents. I do have a website for the protection of the unborn, but I do not have that much money to give to the organizations.

I am so angry to it. I have a child, so I understand my life has changed because of him. He is my main part of my life and I can't imagine that some parents will do something harmful for their child. That's not acceptable at all. When you have your own child, it's your responsibility to bring him/her up. China is one part of you. In fact I prefer I suffer rather than my son has any hurts. I love China

Whenever I watch the news and see babies or children being beaten by adults, I wanted to get mad at those adults hurting innocent little children like that. You're right if they dont want any responsibilities of raising kids, then why make them in the first place. Its as if they're making a game out of this. Which I find it very irresponsible of these adults. I believe that these adults who treat their children like this should be sent to jail.

it makes me sad to hear about things like that happening to children. people today are irresponsibilities. the majority dont want the responsibilities of raising a children. i don't understand since they are like that why keep having children and abusing them. there should be more action taken against them. the only thing i can say is shame on you to those who abuse the very gifts that God blessed you with.

I really feel very irritated and even feel like punishing those who do such acts. I dont understand why some sick people torture small kids who cant even fight with them.

I agree with you that is very sad. I don't understand how anyone can do something like this that is their own flesh and blood. I cried when a friend of mine gave her baby up for adopton. I cried and cried and I stopped going around her for a good while.

You know what...I think some people just don't care. They have no standards or values. Legal abortions say to people 'it's fine to dispose of an unwanted babies' and I reckon people are too lazy to do it in the correct time frame. So, they waste it when they get the opportunity. People who don't want children don't take proper precautions and so an unwanted chilsd is created. Women demand the right to kill their unwanted children legally and they have been given that right. Some of them obviously move the line. I just know someone somewhere will shoot me down for this. It's my opinion and I'm entitled to it. If you disagree, fine. Just don't attack me or argue with me.

Only the other day someone found a baby left on a doorstep. The baby was naked and dumped on a concrete slab, it was a miracle the poor little mite survived at all. I wonder if this is, perhaps, a sign of the gradual dehumanising of society that such things can happen. There is no excuse whatsoever.

I'm a preschool teacher, so I'm with kids on a daily basis and I have a soft spot for kids. It makes me furious to hear about stuff like that. How could anyone do that to a child? If a parent doesn't want the child, then there are places to go and there is always someone to help you. It's just so ridiculous and irresponsible to throw a helpless baby in a dumpster or to beat a child.

Hello secretbear, I don't like to hear this kind of sad story. It really makes my heart aches. Like you, I don't understand why people are so abusive and could done this kind of thing to those helpless children/babies. I really feel pity for those unwanted babies/children. They deserve to have a better life rather than being dumped to die like that. I think people who done that really have mental problem and inhumane. Heavy punishment is just not enough for them!

Hello Secretbear, It is very sad and heart wrenching. When i hear of news like that i think this way...the bible says,"Suffer not the little children" those parents or whoever is guilty will get theirs one day,and when they do it wont be good. All you can do is pray for them.

Hi secretbear, I think it is a shame, with all the people in this world that really want children. If someone has a child and they can't handle it, why don't they put the child up for adoption instead of hurting them. They did not ask to be born in the first place, so why make them suffer? It is so senseless to me. I can understand a lot of unwanted pregnancies in teens, to a point. Unwanted babies should be put up for adoption. Some teens get pregnant and are too scared to let their parents know. This results in babies being borned and put into dumpsters. What a loss. I can not make any sense of all of it. Happy posting..

My heart breaks every time I see or hear of another story like this. Children are a blessing that not everyone gets to have and when the people who can take it for granted it makes me sick. The kind of justice I would take out on these people is a little to graphic to post here but lets just say I would make Vlad the Implalor look like a kitten. I don't think the justice system can do enough to punish these people so being a vigilante does sound apealing.
