Usually I don't eat breakfast. But when I am hungry I will grab a slim fast shake. And sometimes when my son is home I will fix oatmeal or grits but usually he eats breakfast at daycare.

nope. I prefer to get my caffeine from mountain dew. But I did used to drink coffee but that was only when I was working night shift. I am not a huge fan of coffee.

Now that it is getting cold, I usually have a bowl of oatmeal plus orange juice for breakfast. When it is warmer, I will have an omelet, or whole wheat or rye toast. Sometimes I will have yogurt with fruit, almonds, and walnuts. If it is the weekend and there is bacon in the house, and left over mashed potatoes, I will have bacon and eggs and hash browns along with juice. If I do not have time, I will have a glass of milk and some dried cereal such as mini wheats or Cheerios and an orange or juice. It all depends.

Hi Terry, I am not really all that hungry first thing in the morning so I usually pass on breakfast during the week, but I always have coffee! On weekends though because hubby is home, we usually sleep in, and then I will make him something for breakfast like omelet, french toast, pancakes, or something like that. I'm generally not hungry when I first wake up, but I know if I don't eat something I'll be ravenous by 10 o'clock. Usually I have something small like a piece of toast (sometimes with peanut butter) and a cup of tea. I'm more of a brunch person, to be honest. Best of all worlds!

My mornings will not be complete without breakfast, I always cook for myself. Fried rice and fried eggs or hotdogs would be good, but I also reheat those left-overs from last night's meal so it won't be thrown to waste. I guess my stomach is just that hard to take such foods as left-over's, but it sure saves a lot of money!;)LoL

I am not a big breakfast person myself. My husband loves it though, usually when he is working he will nuke something in the microwave that will be quick so he can eat on the way to work. But if he is off and at home, he likes for me to cook, eggs, bacon or omlette, toast, grits, hashbrowns or whatever. Me, I love oatmeal, grits, hot cream of wheat cereal, toast, I will eat eggs, bacon too. But I am not a big breakfast person, I know it is the most important meal of the day but that's still doesn't encourage me :)

Now that I am exercising I am forcing myself to eat breakfast as they say its the most important meal of the day. I always get my coffee fix in though, never go without!

I seldom cook for breakfast, just coffee or tea and bread or make instant noodle, or just order it. Same like you, sometimes if I have to cook, just eggs ;))

Hi TerryZ! When I am alone, I just prepare coffee and some cinnamon rolls for breakfast or muffins but if my husband will be having breakfast with me, I usually prepare whatever he wants which is usually coffee and just a sandwich. Take care and have a nice day.

I try to do my healthy thing at breakfast time. I really like Sturms heart healthy whole grain instant oatmeal in the packets. A half cup of water and a minute to a minute and a half in the microwave and voila! They are pretty tasty also and has no extra sugar added. A bagel sounds like an okay breakfast. Not everyone goes for eggs and bacon and hashbrowns.

I never used to eat breakfast and by 11am I would hit a brick wall and have no energy at all. I now eat breakfast every day and I don't have that problem anymore. But I also make sure I have a protein with my breakfast. If I don't have time to make eggs I will at least have a piece of cheese on my toast, or some cheese whiz. Or sometimes I will have a cup of yogurt. Something with protein. I also have noticed since I started to eat a protein breakfast I have lost some weight. I have been doing this for about 4 months now and I have lost 10 lbs. without changing anything else in my diet.
