Do you hate cooking, ironing, or moping the most? I find ironing very boring and tiring. Cooking is something that I really enjoy and get a chance to be creative! Moping is again a housejob that is not boring because you get your house cleaned and it smells good as well. What about you?

i love cleaning, find it therputic. The only chore i do hate is ironing!! oh so tedious, and such a waste of time! I iron and put the clothes away, only to find that when my children go to wear them again, its all screwed up and in need of ironing again anyway! So now for the sake of my sanity and my childrens lives lol i just wash them and put it away, then iron as and when needed. Least that way i only have to iron it once.

It seems you have found a good solution. What if (like in my case) your husband needs a clean and ironed shirt for work every single day?

get him to iron it himself lol

Generally, I don't like house job. I hate vacuum, this is the worst chore for me to do. I like ironing and cooking, I tolerate washing dishes.

I think the worse is moping, because you have to do it over and over, and is always the same... I do not iron to often.

Im not too worried about any of those tasks, after all these years lol I am sort of used to doing them!the whole housework thing is a little boring and repetitive if you took a close look at it,but lol it has to be done,so I just get on with it!but there are many days when I get up and wish that I idnt have quite as many jobs to do.

I like doing all sort of work for my house and it gives me immense pleasure to have my house completely clean and nicely set and it gives a feeling of pride when someone visits me and praise me for that but yes it is not possible everyday to cook, iron and mop as not everyday is Sunday.

I dont iron..dont have to. I love to cook as well. I try to cook dinner everynight of the week. I just wish someone else would plan the menu for a change..I get tired of thinking of what to make for dinner. I dont mind mopping either. I have one of those swiffers and they work very well. Simple to use, no messy mop water and the floor gets clean.

I agree with you, Efty. I also find ironing the most tedious housework of those three. Cooking is enjoyable, esp. if the people who eat my food love it and compliment it he he he he...Moping the floor is also not too boring 'coz of the same reason as yourself. Fortunately I don't need to mop the floor too much in Finland 'coz it doesn't get as dusty pretty quickly as in Indonesia.

I hate it all. Huahahaha...I'm a lazy girl and not the housewife type. but if i must choose...... then I hate ironing..It's hot and make me sweat. Cooking is good but it seems i don't have the talent. i made brownies once and it turned out to be blackish instead of brown. hahahaha.... I still eat it though, don't wanna spoiled the hard work making it :P moping is easy and fast, so.. no big deal.

I hate mopping the worst because it's the most tiring chore especially when what you use is heavy.

hmm,i didn't cook much yet,as i am still living with my parents,so i don't wanna bother my mother in the kitchen:P... i used to iron when i was little,i really enjoyed it,turning the tv on,listening to music, and iron all the family clothes...i liked to wash the clothes from time to time also, and of course the dishes:P my mother also wanted me to clean every saturday so i vacuumed, cleaned the dust, washed the floor..everything.. now if i could choose,i would say i like to wash the dishes, especially on winter time when it's really cold and i have my hands in a very hot water..it's relaxing for me.. now i only wash by hand some summer clothes, cause they are easy to wash, but in rest,i don't like washing at all..i also don't like to clean the dust,i rather vacuum..and moping the floor is the easiest part i think:) ah and what i hate more is washing the windows...i never liked to do that

i dont mind ironing so much as i generally have to do it once a week. i generally iron while i am watching law and order at night time then its not so boring! (what about a book on tape?) i hate cooking because it is so hard to be inventive every night! fortunately for me, my hubby does all the cooking at our house!

I don't have to iron at all as I only buy things that can be washed and worn without ironing. I never liked to iron and when I think of the time that my grandma used to waste to do such things. She even starched the clothes by spraying them and putting them in the fridge for a few minutes. I don't mind cooking most of the time and I enjoy baking so that isn't a chore really. Mopping is the worst!! I hate to have to do it and I have three rooms in the house that I have to keep the floors cleaned by mopping.YUCK!!

I hate them all but to certain degrees First is ironing - I hate that the most. I used to tell my mom it was the style so she wouldn't break out the iron. I hate the process. I have an iron still in the box I bought it in stuffed in the basement. Second is mopping - I need to sweep before I mop, so I have already walked around this place once and don't want to do it again. I don't mind spot cleaning as needed but the whole house, boring. Third would be cooking - Though I like to cook it is a chore for me because I have to do it every day three times a day plus snack etc. Also that means dishes which is my most dreaded enemy. Vicki

The most is ironing and often never meet my satisfaction. That is why lately my husband looking for non-iron material for his apparels, except for T-Shirts and casuals. Cooking never make me lazy about it and its fun as my cooking meals always finished up by my husband and kids. And a lot of menus on internet that I can make references for change. Moping works previously very tiring for me, but now things make easier as my husband and kids give helps and they manage it by preparing their consensus timetable to help me. My kids will mop for their own room, my husband for guest hall and me for kitchen section. For bathrooms we are on our voluntarily basis for once in a week or having it clean up while having/taking our bath.

Okay, I'll be honest here....I HATE ironing! LOL I do however, love to cook. I could cook all day and be happy...as long as the kids do the dishes. As for the mopping I do like the floors to be clean, I do not like the mopping but rather the process that makes the floor clean enough that my socks don't get dirty. That is the end result that I like then I suppose.
