im planning on making a dish for my family get together for over the holidays and was just wondering what a popular dish to make would be. this is for over the christmas holiday.

Do you want to make an appetizer, main dish or dessert? In my family, spinach dip is a very popular appetizer, while the most popular main dishes are sweet potato casserole or turkey with stuffing. The most popular dessert is pie, usually pumpkin or pecan. Hope this gives you some good ideas!
