Fire victims...Where are you and HOW are you?

I've seen several discussions in the past day or two where people who are near the terrible fires in California have posted. I'm really very worried about you guys! So, if anyone who reads this is near the fire or if you know someone who is, I'd love to hear from you. You can only get so much information on the news and some of the things they report aren't accurate or up to date. To all of you involved in this disaster, you're in my prayers. Annie

We are in San Jacinto which is sandwiched in between Hemet and Idyllwild. Both places have tons of fuel for fires . . . forests, dry shrubs etc. Both fires are now under control. We still have a lot of ashes and the air is awful but we survived. At one point a small fire was about 200 feet away from us but it was quickly put out. Thank God we had no injuries to anyone, no loss of life, and no homes destroyed. All miracles. Thanks for your prayers Annie.

It's amazing, this discussion was started nearly two years ago but it seems to be fitting every single year. The prayers are ongoing as well! With so many wildfires in your state every year I sometimes wonder how there is anything left to burn! I was only in California once and I certainly didn't get a chance to see much of the state at all but from what I did see it's a beautiful state and it's so sad whenever there's so much loss. Best of luck to you! Above all, stay SAFE; things can be replaced but lives can't! Annie

That's interesting Annie. I didn't even check the date but you're right. It seems this happens every year. Thanks for your ongoing prayers.
