Hi everyone, i got a very sad news first thing in the morning. :( it's so sad... yup.. i lost a friend today. She was diagnosed with leukemia last january and now she's gone.. days went so fast, we thought she'd be better but she didn't make it. Miracle was our only hope, but if i look at the bright side, she is now resting in the Father's place in heaven where she'll never be hurt ever again. We surely gonna miss her...

Sorry to hear of your lose.
I thought they had found a cure for that?
God has a plan with us all.
Some things we will never understand.
Because we are human. We cannot.
But, yes I believe you are right. She is in good hands.
No more pain.

I believe that God has reasons why she took her so soon. I don't wanna see her suffer longer either, things do happen for a reason and that's what i'm trying to accept...I do believe that God is a loving creature and someday we will come to know His reasons and the pain will be healed. tc marga c",)

I understand.
But, I also understand that life situations are not always easy to except.
It is normal to feel that way.
After all, we are human.
Especially in hard situations.
I also believe, everything has a reason.
Only God knows why and He will help you with your pain.
He will take it away.

Yes, but it's hard to accept that she already have left us too soon, she is suppose to be 32 this coming nov. 6 but just didn't make it. I know God has a purpose and maybe as time passes by , we'll learn to understand that reason... thank you my friend :)

well, u r right, somr times we dont believe it even after seeing it with our own eyes.
some times u feel that all u saw was just s NIGHTMARE
but reality is reality
and other reality is time, its best cure to every thing, with passage of time every thing will be cured and if not cured then pain will be reduced/

That's a tragic story indeed, I also lost some friends and other people close to me along the way. I guess what you're feeling right now is just for the moment, I'm sure you'll get over the feeling as time goes one.
You are right about the brighter side, just think of the good things and don't think of her departing as a loss but a start of a new beginning.

Thank you raijin for these conforting words, i do appreciate you saying that... she will always remain in our hearts, even now i'm keeping her in my thoughts and would sometimes smile, she's acts a little crazy sometimes. She's beautiful inside out.

That is very sad, by son was 11 when he lost a very good friend, also 11 to leukemia. It is an awful disease. The statistics say there is a better then 75% survival rate but somehow I keep hearing about the other 25%.
I am so sorry for your loss, but at least your friend is no longer suffering, I know that is little comfort to you but that is the best I can offer

We saw how she suffered and she was a fighter, we thought she was going to make it but still with fear that she won't... it's so hard to see someone you love suffer specially her family, they were always by her side. Yes she's gone but the memories will remain in our hearts...

Yeah I knowhow it feel I had a friend too that passesd away last month through heart attack, and I can say up to now I still remember our happy moments. It's very hard to loose a friend that gives us happiness and shoulder to cry on.

I'm sorry for your loss too lyn, you're right that we should be holding on to the beautiful memories with our friend. I'm thinking about her until now, i always remember her smile and that makes her me smile too but with tears in my eyes..

very sorry to hear about your friend. I've had friends telling me that people they know passed away due to leukimia, but I've never personally known anyone who had leukimia. I hope you're ok and that you're handling it well, knowing that she's at a much better place. take care and hope all is well.

I've know her for 7 years, though we don't work in the same department but she was indeed a very good friend to all of us. She always wear that sunny smile and would gladly help anyone in need. I'm gonna miss her...

Yes david, i do hope she's happy now wherever she is. we had our last goodbye yesterday... until now i still can't believe that she's gone now. It's a great loss for her family and us her friends too.

Oh, Im really sorry to hear that. But as you have said she is now resting. And one thing more, we will all die, in different time, place and reason. Nut for sure we will all die, nothing can stop that. We just have to prepared when the time comes. You just have to pray for your friend. She is at rest now. And you are right she will no longer feel any pain now.

That's so sad. I too just lost one of my best friend's Husband just Sunday to the same disease. He was diagnosed last March. SO it seems they were going through the same thing all about the same time. What a terrible disease. I just don't understand how someone so healthy one day can be so sick the next and just never get better. I pray for you and your friend's family and may both our friends rest in peace.

I'm sorry for your loss :(. I lost my father to cancer and although we knew he was dying it was hard still when he did passed on. So I could say I know how you feel. I'm glad though that you are aware the your friend is in a better place. A place free of sickness or pain. I don't know your friend's name but I'll pray for her soul just the same.
