Samsung Electronics has developed the most powerful memory chip according to the company. its a 30-nanometer NAND flash memory device which could help create a memory capable of storing 80 DVD MOVIES!!! and then it can also offer fresh applications for various multimedia items such as mobile handsets, digital cameras and mp3 players. with that memory device I can have dvd marathons for weeks! and I can even store thousands of my favorite and not-so-favorite songs, from anime soundtracks to j-pop, to english songs to local songs! and I can probably even store tonz of images and pictures!! woohoo!!! I can just click and save and click and save and download and download and download forever! LOL what would you with this kind of super high capacity memory device?

Now a days 60 GB is no space at all. I do store loads of music and dvd's on spare hard disc. But with only 60 GB memory i would not even suggest to you to do that. I don't know what is your personal needs, but on a 60 GB hard drive, I would personally only store pics, documents, programmes and software.

My CD drive in the computer doesn't work for some reason. So, I'd use the flashdrive on another computer and install all the demo games that I like onto the flashdrive so I have a way to play them. The flashdrive would also help with saving space on my computer, so that is a second good thing for that. By the way, what is the life expectancy of these things? My granddad asked me that once, but I didn't know the answer.

We have a 60 gig external hard drive and a 150 gig. They are both almost full. We would store music, movies, games and lots and lots of photos.

That's a lot of memories storage for you, and imagining that it is only a flash device, WOW! What I'm going to do with it, I'm thinking of using it to run my CPU system. I can store my operating system and a lot of applications and used it whenever I go outside (just got to look for a computer shop). And a lot of songs and pictures to go with.

Well... these days... 60GB is not as big as you think. A proper movie on DVD is about 7GB. So you could only have about 9 movies on your device. I have a friend who will rush to the shop to buy one. He will store all his music on it... and he has so much of it that he can probably fill it up. He has a smaller one and he carries it around... and plug it into his friends computer at parties.

Chances are that will be fairly expensive to buy but if I bought one I would definitely back up most of my data. I would load up on movies and music. I would also store duplicates of all personal pictures. ‹(°¿°)›

Yes, I could store a lot of photos on that! Presently the largest "pen drive" I have is 5 gig and although I carry it while traveling and use it to upload and download all sorts of things, photos are what I save the most. People who save movies would go nuts over this toy! But I think I could fill one up just with art clips. I imagine anyone with a baby could put a lot of home videos on there, too, and have a wonderful record of their kid growing up.

I'd probably put a whole bunch of stuff on it like projects along with some music so I can carry that with me. I don't think I'd be able to stuff it though, nor would I carry it around too much (especially at the cost of some 64 GB flash drive prices). Well, there is mobile apps and program using though. I forgot about that.
