At what age would you like to retire form working?...and what would you like to do when you are already retired?... In the US, the retirement age is 65 while it is 60 in my country... i think that is like too old for a person to enjoy life without work... I would like to retire at the age of 40 so that i will still be strong enough to travel the world... and be able to do things without being tied down to a particular job...

I'm just 22 and I'm thinking of retiring tomorrow! lol.. i never expected working to be this hard. With the little that I'm earning, I doubt it if I could save enough for my retirement. I'd like to retire at the age of 30 primarily because I too want to explore other lands while I still don't have bugging ailments like arthritis.

We all would like to retire early... especially if we do not like our current work... you are still young so you have a lot in store for you in the working world... but it would be nice to travel the world without thinking that we will go back to work after a week or two...

Happy, Retired Old Man - Isn't it amazing when you can enjoy your golden days doing something that you love to do?
Hello aseretdd, In my country, the retirement age is at 55. But given a choice, I would like to retire early; maybe at 45 . In fact, I don't want to work anymore right now*smiles* but I am so used to work that I am afraid I will get bored when need to stay at home and be a full time housewife. I also wish that I can spend my 'golden age' exploring the world and do whatever I want to do.

I am from India and in my country the ritirement age is different for each and every state. In some state it is 56,58 etc.In private sector the retirement age is decided by the company and there is no fixed age for it.I am working in a private company and they decide it according to my performance.Any how it is vey borring after retirement. If we are not involved in any work,we will become aged easily. If we engaged in any work.it is very nice.I like teaching profession after my retirement.

I would like to make enough money to retire by the time I am 30. I have 6 months to go.......I don't think I am going to make it. I might have to settle for 40.

I wish to retire at age 50 but my employer asked me to be with them until 60 the ripe age. After my retirement, and my family and me will get involved in small scale business and agriculture because I love to be with people and nature.
