Well if you really look at the careers of singing groups They stayed together for a long time from the time of Their first hit record in the early 1960,s to 1971 or 1972 Especially being the phenominal group that they were ego's Grow just as the group and each individual must have Surely felt that the other's his getting to much of the Spotlight or getting more of their fair share and so on I Beleive what kept them together for that long was the Strong friendship and life bonding experiences in the beggining between John,Paul and George when they played jobs for one or two nights or one To two weeks at a time in night clubs in Germany and if You can stay personal and Working and business associates for that long through bad You know you can through the good I mean the group had Gotten so huge you'll have to depend on each other for Your own basic survival and protection I would think after All where could you go alone if you were a beatle who Could or would you trust in and they were a group in 1959 At least before Ringo join the group it was drummer Pete Best also from England Ringo joined while they were in Germany he was influenced to leave the group he was Playing with after the original drummer Pete Best departed From the group and he eventually became a successful and Prominent baker.

hi, i love the beatles, but dont agree that they disbanded early on in their career, if there were rifts between the group surely better to split up/disband than to stay together to produce music which may have not been as good as there earlier stuff, x

Although I wish they were all alive and still together, I don't think they broke up that early in their career. They have dozens of albums and thousands of songs that are still loved by millions to this day. I think they changed the world of music, and it is going to be extremely hard for any other band to to what they have done.

My parents never listened to them but I did starting in high school (long after they'd split up). It would have been interesting to see them reunite before John was killed. They had an amazing career.

Pierre55, welcome to mylot! I don't agree with you in saying that the talent of the Beatles went into waste. In fact, up to now they are the most popular band according to the Guiness Book of World Records. All of them, became millionaires and made an impact as solo artists, especially John Lennon and Paul McCartney. Happy mylotting!
