I know you guys are probably sick of these but here I am again. We are almost finished hahahaha! These are the vases he bought me and I think they are quite beautiful. I tried to get the intricate carving so you could see it, darn my shortness! My husband haggled prices for these with the "hagi" as they call the sales people over there. He said the man drove a hard bargain, but little did he know how frugal and cheap my husband is! LOL, I think these are quite lovely. Let me know what you think!

They do look lovely and I would love to see the intricate designs. Do you know if these are antiques or are they recent? How did they make them? What are you going to use them for? I doubt you could put real flowers in them because the water would ruin the finish, and you did not tell me how big they are or what they are usually used for.

I just use them for decoration. I don't put anything in them at all. I absolutely have no idea what they are normally used for lol! My husband just thought they were beautiful and bought them for me. I think it would be quite interesting to find out though! No, I wouldn't put real flowers in them, the finish would be worn with the water as you said. Thanks for responding!

These are very nice indeed. I have a couple small vases/urns along these lines from Egypt as well. They can get costly I know this myself as well. Haggling is the way to go. Thanks for sharing these gifts.

Thanks! I am very proud of his choices. They are very unique and he knows that I love unique items that I can put on display. But these are so nice! Yes, my husband is a cheapskate and he loves to find a good deal! So, believe me he haggled lol!

Ceramics are so romantic, if you want to win over you wife or mother you cant go wrong with aceramic craft. When I had time I use to make them but know its to complicated so I just buy them online. Check out this ceramic vases, really nice and good prices. www.ceramicvases.biz
