My daughter has Chrone's disease. She is 24 years old so, she has her own insurance plan. I went to visit her on Tuesday and noticed her prescription bottle was empty. I asked her if she wanted me to run to the pharmacy for her and she replied no because she was waiting on her prescription card renewal. I told her that I would just pay for it out of pocket. She told me that the prescription was THREE HUNDRED AND FIFTY DOLLARS!! That's crazy. I don't have that much money. I would have to take out a loan. Thank God she got her card yesterday and went to fill it. I'm just wondering what types of drugs other people take and how much they cost. How important is it that you have it? Are all life or death drugs more expensive?

My wife takes Lexapro and that cost us about $ 80.00 per month and I thought that I had it bad. Well that Kind a put it in perspective now doesn't it.. That is absolutely absurd though. For 1/1000 of a missile she could have those pills.
