Today i went to a scan centre with my wife as her gaenecologist prescribed some tests for her. But i was irritated when i see a male technition or nurse inside the scan room, and my wife had to go naked from waist down to the scan. After scan she told me he was there inside in the whole process, and he might have seen her private parts. I feel very bad then. do u think that the officials should give respect to patients privacy and consent in these cases

that is ridiculous! do they not give the patients gowns to wear while they are getting tests done? there certainly do that here where i live, therefore no one sees more than necessary!

They should & must give respect & privacy to patients. Nurses & technicians are trained in this aspect nowadays,& your wife was probably quite safe. In future though, she probably has the right to request a female nurse or technician, but I am not sure what happens if one is not available.
