i do... i did a training one of the fruits and juices store in cairns, and my co worker who's 40 years old, is not good to me... she's the old staff and she supposed to teach me what to do but she just let me make the shake without telling me what to put on it... and she used to yell at me... i didnt mind that the first time i just did all i can to the best of my knowledge coz i thought that its natural for her to do that on a busy day with a new employee like me... but its not!!!
there's a guy who's ahead of me for 1 day training... and she let him serve the customers order... and she assist him step by step...( on everything!)and when it comes to me she doesnt care! :( i was really mad about it but i still wear my good smile..
how about you? do you have a b!tch workmate? how do you deal with it?

i believe you are a filipina right?
i had experience what you are feeling right now. i am a half filipina half japanese. and when i work for the first time at japan some of the people there treat me as if i am invisible. it is really very hurting. they ignore and they dont show me how to do what i have to do.
i dont know why other raise do this but when they are in our country we show some respect to them.
well maybe because they are not used to have a co-worker that has a different raise.
just look at the bright side, you are working and make useful of yourself. enjoy what you are doing for you are doing it for your family and not for them.

Many years ago I workrd in a food packaging plant and we had a real b!ch that had been there for years and years. In fact there were 2 of them. We had to fold boxes annd then put the bean packages in the boexex in a cettian way. Then the boxes would go through a press that glued the boxez. These tow had been there so long that they know just when to put extra bag of beans in the box to messy up the press. They would make it look like someone else did it. We tried to get something done but we ended up looking like fools and notheing was ever done. We were told that we were in the wrong, so we had to just put up with it and clean up the messes.

You should not have to put up with her treatment of you, take off that smile and let her know you are not happy. If she has a manager or supervisor, take the matter up with them too, perhaps they need to know what she is like

Hi jHoEn16! Oh, she is bad alright! haha.. I did experience being yelled at when I was new in the wrokplace but I yelled back telling her not to scream at me because I am going to treat her the way she treats me. haha.. I told her that she can say to me all that I needed to know in a very humane manner. I told her that I am desperate to have a job but not that desperate to accept such kind of attitude towards me. Well, it worked because she apologized for her behavior and she became kind to me since then. Take care and have a nice day.

i wish never meet such a b!th,hehe, but during our working ,i also meet someone i reall hate and don't wanna talk to him or her,it is very lucky that i have no such a workmate up to now.

Ahh, you already got "good" friends on your job!;)
Just don't mind her that much, always think that she's older than you and treat them with respect as that's what most of us PINOY's were known for!;) Maybe she's just testing your will to work, as that's what most veteran workers treat newbies like you. I remember a time that I was also treated like that, but later earned respect from them because I showed them how dependable and dedicated I was at work.
You can drop the smile, for her to know how you feel. Enjoy work my friend, don't allow them to enter your mind and affect your mood!;)

A LOT!!!! but i just let them be their b_t__y ways. and then just prove to them that i am not like them. i am not a b_t_h but i am good on what i do.
its natural when some workmates gets bi8ch= because you are new.... you just need to make yourself useful and prove to her that you are willing to learn and you learn fast. even she doesnt teach you and orient you always keep your eyes open and learn that way, then prove to her that you are inteligent in your own simple way.

Hello jHoEn16,I always do*laughs* Unfortunately for me, for each of the companies that I worked for (the present one is the fourth company), I always have this kind of colleague. Normally as long as I can ignore her existence, I will just ignore her. I always think like this: if I do something stupid or act exacly like her, I am worse than her then...

I did have many. I just did my job as best as I could for as long as I could take it then I left cause alot of people were trying to make me look like an idiot.

oh yeah i got one before she acted more than like a boss and she always think and say that she is pretty and sexy even its not i got hospitalized because of her i cannot control my mood and i got highblood but now im so happy she's not here anymore and she's only good to me when she want to borrowed some money and im stupid to give her and now i dont know where she is we have no more communication :-/
