O.K.now that I know you are getting Verizon I am not so confused anymore.I was confused because I didn't know Aol did installs.I had aol for a little while because my comcast modem broke.I couln't get on to a few sites also.
Glad you got it worked out.

I do not know what you can do. Is there another internet provider you can use? Aol 's format is a bit different from others, especially when it comes to graphics. It is also different when you upload rtf and text files. When I read something from someone who uses AOL, I get these symbols in the place of commas, paragraph spaces, etc.

Are they not compatible with AOL or are they just being picky?!?!? Hmm... Not much you can do, I guess. I hope it isn't detrimental to not be able to get on that site. Hmmm... I remember reading another recent post about Vorizon... Am I answering these in the wrong order?

Not much you can do methinks. I'm Australian so it's not a problem for me but I've noticed here and there lately in my internet travels that several places have issues with AOL. I guess you either forget about those sites that don't deal with them or access another computer somewhere that doesn't use them. Your public library maybe. That would be such a pain for me.
