What happened the other day?

A few days ago on everyone's control panel, it said
"referral views: under maintenance"
What happened?
everything's back to normal now, but whenever those kinds of things happen on a website, it freaks me out. :/

These things occur from time to time, even here in mylot. The webhost performs a maintenance repair on their site, for member to enjoy their time there.
I remember back then, mylot used to have glitches from the sudden changing of stars and those "server error" thing.
