We took our Pack fishing...................

We found the perfect spot to go camping and fishing. It was on a military base. It was a daylong open house and the scouts did a scouting event campout. The Pack had not camped with the Troop yet so we did. There is a small lake near where we camped and the fishing was great. 3 and 4 boys at a time were bringing in catfish or bluegill. The Pack ages is 1st-5th grade. I love seeing their faces light up when they realize there really is something on the line. Some of the cubs had never been fishing before. The Boy scouts helped us with the cub scouts too.

I bet that was great.I was thinking the other day
about fishing and I really miss it.I have not had a
chance to go in years.I am just going to have to do
something about that.To me there is nothing like set-
ting on a river bank and waiting for the fish to bit.
My only problem now is someone to go with.

someone to go with....but why is that a problem?
Go with yourself if you have to. Just you and nature and the fish, so peaceful. My mom does this all of the time (every summer)and she's in her 60's. She goes to a fairly public spot so to be safe and always let's someone know before going and upon her return. My hubby loves fishing with me and without me. It's a serene time.
