hai dear.....now I am using sony H2 its not much bad but I am using that for macro shots .its facilitate image stabilizer.tone balancilng so and so.but it is DSLR there is another one.....Nikon D80.its a SLR camera I thing its better to prefer that

I'm also looking to getting a new digital camera in '08. Most people I know have a Kodak or Canon digital camera. Now after talking to a few people I'm leaning towards the canon rebal, if I can afford it. It's very pricey, but I will look into refurbished ones and see what I find there. I would take more pic/s of my kids if I had a good camera and I new some of my pic/s would turn out good. So it kind of depends on what you plan to do with your camera in the future. I plan on keeping this next camera for the rest of my life, if the camera lasts that long.

any camera by Canon or FujiFilm is guaranteed to be good. buy the most expensive one that you can afford.
