Yesterday and today were my days to run back and forth to the hospital that is about an hour away. Yesterday was the nutritional class I'm required to attend for my gastric bypass surgery. And today was for the three tests I had scheduled: a mammogram, ultrasound, and bloodwork. Sheesh! I felt soooo abused by the time it was all over with, what with being squished, prodded, and poked. LOL On top of that, a lovely cold kicked in on Tuesday, and I'm right in the middle of the "fever period", where the fever keeps coming on and then breaking. I hope I feel better by Sunday so I can go to the family reunion. I'm off to bed now. My pillow is screaming my name. LOL Good night all. Big hugs to everyone. Oh...and if you have extra chicken soup, please send it my way (and a LOT of tissues too please). LOL

I can't imagine being done that way at any one appointment but then again, one has to do what they have to do, right? Hope you're feeling better today. Go enjoy your family reunion for I'm sure it'll be lots of fun getting to see everybody once again. I wish my family had reunions but we don't.

Add honey into your diet! Honey will give you extra energy and it is very good for your stomach too. Take local pure honey instead of imported one. Good luck and be well soon!

That sounds like MY merry-go-round a couple of times a year, minus the cold part! Get lots of rest when you can, chug that soup, and take your vitamins... you have to be tip-top to get all of this done, and that means taking good care of yourself, my friend! But... you're that much closer to your new life! Bravo on the mammogram... too many people blow it off. I have a cousin who's just getting her hair back... she thought that mammograms were too much trouble!
