Second Time Births / myLot

I'm just curious to know how many of you have experienced extremely speedy second time births? We're talking barely make it to the hospital, if at all!!?? My sister recently gave birth to her little boy in the back of their ford explorer because she couldn't make it to the hospital on time, my brother in law actually had to deliver him...(ambulance showed up shortly there afterwards). Also, with my other sister, she made it to the hospital for her second birth but just barely! They usually prefer that a docter deliver your baby, but my other sis couldn't "hold it" so the nurse ended up delivering...wonder if it runs in the family? Have you/ anyone you know ever had a child at home or in a vehicle (unplanned of course)? What have your experiences been with second births? IS there a good chance that the third one come even quicker???

I don't think this is very uncommon. My first took 3+ hours, my second was an emergency c-section that would have been fast if not for the emergency. My third took about 1 1/2 hours. My sister has had 3, each one a bit faster but all took a while. I had mine at a young age. Her first was not until she was 29. I think age has something to do with it.
