female scientist??

We come across many scientific-discoveries of different fields forwarded by scientists who excelled their fields. Most of scientists are males in spite of equal-oppertunities offered by their govt. in terms of education and research etc.. So why females are behind males in science and related fields??

I think womens are always around for the scientific discoveries, if you look years back, always womens help, or did the job, but guys get the recognition. Womens are capables, and do the work, we just need to get recognized...

fine. so why are they barred from getting recognized in spite of claims as "Equal rights, etc" by their countries.

We are working on that... I think womens are getting the recognition they deserve, it took sometime...
