We don't belong from a rich family but my mom alone struggled and worked hard just for us (her three children) to finish college. And we were all able to get our degree. My sister and I are nurses and my brother is a teacher. Our mom is very proud of us. For her, education is very important. How about you? Is education important to you?

Yes it is. In fact even without the schools and universities I still strive to learn everyday. Something about knowledge really inspires and drives me. Its also important for society too, and I'm usually one to praise excellent examples of education and call out the poorer examples and instances of education.

Yes, for us, as well. My parents didn't finish university due to lack of money, so they also worked hard to pay for us until we graduated from the university. I'm SO GRATEFUL for them 'coz of that. These days without education, it's hard to get a decent job. So yes, education is important for me. ;-D I SALUTE your Mom. She's such a strong and determined lady! ;-)))

Education is very important for every human being for the following reasons 1. To know about the history, geography and politics of the world past and present 2. To learn things like science, technology etc. 3. To acquire skills to develop personal career. 4. To learn way of living much better than our forefathers. 5. yes it is important for me because here in my country you cant get a decent job unless you have a good education from a reputable school.even if you have a college degree, unless you came from a good school you cant get a nice high paying job and most probably end up as an office clerk.but even if you have education but if you lack the drive to strive for more you still cant make a major move in your career.so better have an education and hardwork for you to make a major impact on your life.

Hi, For me education is important and because of the education I am able to give this response. Being rich and to know how to utilize money well is another part of well educated person. Offcourse there is no doubt on this that education is important the only aspect is difficulties to get educated and to get knowledge absorbed.

yes, it is importsnt for me:) I'm in the college right now and I think while this doesn't show who are you as a person (if you're good or not) but it gives you a chance to spread your wings and follow your interests. I don't like people who belittle the value of college and say it means nothing:/ It's not true, it only means nothing if you want to go to college just in the sake of going to college and not to extend your knowledge, but there are many people who know whant they want to do with their lives so they choose their path wisely to obtain it.

We don't belong to a rich family either but my parents have tried really hard to get us through college. I do value the education I was given as I value all efforts (my parents and my own) to get me to finish my degree in speech pathology. Had I not finished college, I'd be working 24/7 and the pay would be barely enough. Having attained a college diploma, gave me an unexplainable confidence in myself which I wouldn't have gotten even if I was an heiress to a business empire. No money in the world can replace what has been instilled in my brains and my being; so to answer your question again, education is undoubtedly important.
