This is my first time posting a message here on myLot, so I hope it is a good one. I am requesting help from all of the myLot members. I am looking to increase my income and have started looking for a "work from home" job. I really can't believe what is advertised on the internet for this job category. I don't know what to believe and what not to believe. I know that if it seems too good to be true that is probably is. So, my question to all of the myLot members is...if you know of a legitimate work from home job or service, please let me know about it. Thank you very much for reading this discussion and posting your responses.

Don´t know if it´s the right answer, but what about starting a blog and make (some) money from it? I started my own blog a month ago, so far I´ve earned not that much, but it keeps growing. You´ll find some info regarding making money online on it. Take a look at my profile, there´s a link to my blog.

Thank you. I did look at your profile and do you have to set up an account in order to generate money? Thank you again and sorry for all of the questions.

Thank you again for your quick response. Okay, your last post said that I could ask you more questions, so here goes. Now I will apologize now, because some of my questions may seem very basic, but I just want to make sure that I have a good understanding of all the different ways to make money online. My first questions I have is; I wanted to make money online, so I purchased my own web site, registered a domain name and everything, and now I'm finding out that maybe I didn't have to do that? Maybe all I needed was to join a few blog sites, post some messages and hopefuly generate a large enough response rate to generate income?Secondly (for now anyway) you mentioned about writing sponsored posts on blog sites? What exactly does that mean and how can one earn money doing that?Thank you again for your help.

Hi... I'm living proof that you can stay home and make money. I work at home answering phone calls as an employee for a national company. I work part time for around $14 an hour. I get paid vacation, 401K, and even time and a half on holidays. There are legitimate work at home jobs, believe it. I know of several companies who hire people to work at home, but I can't send you anything unless you ask me to. You have to opt in to my list before I can legally send you email. The info already posted here about the blogs is right. And I've know of some other sites that pay for articles and blogs, but again, you have to give me permission to send the sites to you. If anyone wants this free info, just send me your email. At that point I will send you a form so you can opt in to my list. I can help you somewhat with your website too and advise you of different things you could do with it. I have a few suggestions, but too much info at once will drown you. Send me a private email, because I can send you information about working at home. ;-) InternetMama

Thank you for your very informative post. You have been very helpful. It add some sense of a secure feeling knowing that someone else has gone through this before and is very willing to steer someone else in a safe direction. I will send you a friend request asap.

Thank you oneidmnster. I have been looking for a few days now for a legitimate work from home site and I can't find anything. Thank you for the advise about the offers that want to charge you money to join. I agree that they are a scam. I have to admit that I was so desparate that I almost paid $10 to join one site, but talked myself out of it. I will check out your profile per your request. Thank you again for your help.

babs_h, Thank you very much for posting a response to my site. I am extremely confused about this whole money online thing, but what you are saying makes perfect sense. I have always wanted to try and make some money on ebay, but it seems like there are too many vendors there. Heck, I don't know Thank you again.
