I think life has been treating me fairly as I have an intact family who supports me in whatever i do. My parents are still together after 37 years of marriage. I have a home-based job that lets me earn enough for what i need. I am not wealthy but I am physically fit and healthy. Though not married yet, I am happy as I have wonderful friends around me. How about you?

Life is not ever "fair". It is just life with ups and downs and struggles and hurts. If it were "fair" then all the good people would be on an island somewhere sipping some tropical cocktail and bathing in the sun. Its all about your outlook and expectations. Me...I just appreciate all the good in my life and deal with all that isn't so good the best i can. its all any of can do. If you can maintain a decent attitude and have some good friends and family....nothing seems so bad.

I used 'fair' to mean that despite hardships you still enjoy life and be positive. To those people who can afford to go on vacations as you have mentioned above then i guess life to them is not fair -- but better ot maybe best.

Your post is so satisfying, Irene. Couple like your parents assures us commitment, love and trust which is so vain today. We donot have to be materially rich to be happy but a satisfying life devoid of any bad things done on our part. Happiness is certainly a state of mind and beyond material. May be be like this always.

Sorry dear, I digressed from your topic. I think, amidst all adversities and unforced errors life has treated me well. I may not have a fortune or best of partners or children of my own but I do have a lovely family and friends, a great working atmosphere and a lucky life. I guess, that balances it all.

hi! i know nobody has a perfect life. I too have frustrations and failures but i consider them to be petty compared to what i have. In everything, i guess, we just have to be positive.

you have to believe that life has treated you fairly.ther's no way out,on another not being fair is a highly relative word like many other words . for example a poor guy who has seen stavation in his child hood days ,if suddenly gets to eat food and gets job and what he feels like would be he have setteled. eventhough it may be be considered very un fair by others but not by him .he would consider it great, actuallly exelent. But thinking in our limits.we have to make it fair at any ways or otherwise call it fair its simple like that.

hello shak! As i've replied to mimpi i said i know nobody lives in a perfect world. Of course there will always be a downside in everything we do. In life, it's just a matter of weighing your failures and blessings. We just have to be optimistic all the time. Peace!

HI, I am glad you can say that. I on the other had would say no. I mean right now it seems to be going ok, but i have lost my mother, whe i was olny like 25 or so. I also lost my daughter when she was olny 7(3 years ago0. I had to watch my son lie in the road after getting hit by a car and leave him to be flown away. The list goes on.

hello Dee! i was saddened to read the reasons why you said life isn't fair to you. Me, during bad times, i just think that the world goes full circle and there's always light after the dark. It is said that everything happens for a reason but sometimes the reason comes clear after sometime. Just pray and hold on. Be thankful you are still alive.

Hi Irene. Yea, I think life is treating me fairly and I am happy with it. I am not a smart person or what-so-ever, I am just lucky. Lucky to be born in such a great family, live around friends who bring me laughter all the time. Anyway, it's great to hear that you enjoy your life as well.
