Does the most recent of Bin Laden's released tapes admit defeat? Here's an article where the author believes Bin Laden is admitting Al Qaeda has lost in Iraq. http://www.strategypage.com/htmw/htwin/articles/20071027.aspx I do not believe that is Bin Laden's sub text. I hear Bin Laden saying, "We ain't won, yet. Change tactics & strategy!". What do you think? Has Bin Laden admitted defeat or is he urging his followers to try harder?

Where as it's obvious that Al-Queda has lost enough power to be considered defeated, the fact that they still are around somewhere is what I believe Bin Laden is appealing to. As long as there are followers of his dementia, he will try to organize them to carry out his plan to defeat freedom around the world. I see another Hitler-ite here. The one, limited religion ruling the world. Next, all members will have to be blue-eyed and blonde?

Dementia and the reference to Hitler are especially appropiate. Killing ones self delibrately or killing known innocents delibrately, can only be regarded as menally ill. During WWII Islam did ally itself with Hitler. About a year ago there was a thread about that with even a pic of Hitler and a top Islamic leader posed together. They shared a hatred of Jews and did co-operate.

Oh I agree. We must be however charitable and build more loony bin for them preferably in some place like G. bay.. Maybe some Valiums and endless therapy would be the humane course...

I saw a couple of reports, and by what was given in the text, he is calling for unity and for the insurgents and terrorists to pull together instead of fragmenting. I doubt he would ever admit defeat... these kinds of people fully believe in what they are doing and will die fighting for what they believe in. This is the same situation that exists in Iran with that president...he believes what he is doing is right and will never change. These people are fanatical, and cannot be reasoned with, nor will they ever acknowledge defeat. bin Laden is urging his followers to try harder and pull together.

Yes, I agree with you. If Bin Laden was about to die in battle, I can see the fool smiling to himself while thinking, " Foolish Americans they kill the one who tried to teach them of Paradise. I go there now. So, who has really won this fight?".

I agree with you..and I did not read your text until after Iread the article...He wants them to keep on going. It would take a rational person to admit defeat and he is not rational. I think we need to keep going at it. We may catch him or he may do what Hitler did...either way the world wins.

i don't think that guy will ever admit defeat. i think he's just trying to make his follower work harder in bringing down the non-Muslim empires.

I agree Bin Laden will not admit defeat. Pehaps, the author meant we should regard it as an admission of defeat?
