This is what my 4 1/2 year old did to the baby earlier. I wanted to post it immediately but just finally got enough service at the house to send myself the picture. I know it's a bit grainy but that's what you get in poor light and a cell phone camera! All the green is PERMANENT Sharpie marker too! He said he was just writing his name LOL!There's some yellow highlighter marker on there too but I doubt it shows up.

Get your 4 1/2 yr. old some paper to write on, that will keep him buzy. Lol. that's not good, get him some markers all different colors at the dollar store, with art paper.

That's so funny! He is at that age where he or she will get into anything. Just do like I said I bet he will enjoy that!

Oh dear...I'm glad you could wipe most of it off and you caught him before he did more things with the marker he he he...
I think when I was a kid I managed to put a chewed-on bubble gum on my brother's hair. This is a vague memory, but I remember something about it. I felt SOOOOO sorry afterward 'coz it was TOUGH to get rid of!!! Yeah, I was a bad girl ha ha ha ha...

There is also a big stripe of green on the fairly new wood floor and also on the wall...I'm just thankful this room isn't finished yet and the nice walls aren't up yet!
We haven't had an bubble gum incidents but my older children did get a bit naughty with a glue bottle once and managed to pour it out on each others' heads! Three children with glue in their hair was not so funny!

I used some baby wipes on it while it was still some what fresh, they clean just about anything. It did help some but there is still a lot left. I think he'll just be taking lots of baths and wearing his winter hat a lot until it washes off! It could have been worse, I caught him just as he was about to start drawing a moustache!
Your boys sound cute! I bet you were glad it was on their bellies rather than their faces!

Thanks...I didn't notice it was blurry too until after I posted it but I guess it's not too bad. Most of it is gone now, just a few light stripes left. I think with 3 boys so close in age we'll be having lots of funny moments!
