I'm applying as a live-in caregiver to Canada. I'm bound for Quebec. I've already got an employer. Last Tuesday, I received a letter from the Canadian embassy saying that I should take the SPEAK (Spoken Proficiency in English Assessment Knowledge) test. This test would assess my English ability and my caregiving skills. It is administered in a language lab environment. Has any of you taken this test? Can you give me some guidelines? What were the questions asked to you?
