Who is your favorite artist and why?

This is easy for me to answer. I love Van Gogh.His work is so bright and powerful. I art to be bold.

Mine is Da Vinci.Such a complex person..such intelligence!I studied frantically about his work,his life for so long that my friends are now avoiding the subject when I'm around.LOL

Mozart was an artist.He counts.I have a love hate relationship with him after playing Eine Kleine Nachtmusik over and over.

I love Gustav Klimt. He was such a romantic. He used his wife as his model for many years...that's love. My favourite painting is "The Kiss". The lovers are tightly joined and the man is being so protective of his love. It is beautiful. I love the splashes of bright colour and the way he uses gilt.

I like Terry Redlin because his painting depict my life....not the first ones of wildlife..but the ones that have a cabin in the picture.....and snow on the roofs! I also like Nina Fritz. She paints sea scenes with children.....I love painting of children.
