Do non-yielders irritate you?

Say you are jetting off the highway (at the psted 35mph, of course (times two hee he) and there is a car on the access road. You gotta get over in the far right lane to turn, but this guy doens't yeild. What do you do? Do you slam on your breaks and yield to him, then get over? Do you speed in front of him, then get over and cut him off? Do you honk and make wild hand gestures showing your frustation? Or do you head right for his car as if you are going to hit him, just to scare him a bit, then get over and make your turn? I admit to having done that last one before... Make it a bit more dramatic and squeel the tires a bit while grining at the terror on his face!! (No, I haven't done that, but I sometimes want to). What do you do?

None of the above! LOL I don't drive. I just can't afford the expense of maintaining a car. Besides I tend to be a bit emotional at times. I figure their are enough nuts on the highway. Why add one more.

Haa haa haa... I guess if the public transportation is good enough, or if you don't go many places, then it would be ok not to have a car. I live too far from everything, so I can't not have a car!!

What I wish is that everyone had one of those "how's my driving" numbers on their call. I'd be making lots of calls everyday! I despise non-yielders! Why can't they just follow the rules- it isn't like being one car ahead is going to get them that much farther. I had a guy today pull right out in front of me even though he had a stop sign and I didn't. I was turning left and he was going to be going straight- so we were both going the same way. Guess he just needed those extra few seconds, huh? Luckily it is raining out today and I am very careful when I drive because of way too many near-disasters so I was actually going below the speed limit in preparation for the turn. Otherwise it could have been UGLY! I have to say that I do all of the above-but if I have to slam on my breaks I will also include a hand gesture or horn honk. But I will also speed and get in front since it was my right in the first place and sometimes I even act like I am going to hit them. Never with a smile though. Never thought about scaring them that way!! It all depends on the weather, how I feel that day and who is in the car with me. I really hate driving! And hate stupid drivers!

So if they had the number to call... who would we be calling?? I always worried about that when I had my phone number on the window for Avon. I always thought that when I pi$$ed someone off, they were gonna call and tell me all about it. But no one ever did! I'm not a horrible driver, so they have no reason to call (lol)

Usually I just try to go on with my day. With driving, there is going to be stupid people. No matter where I live or what I do, there is always going to be somebody stupid. I may give a light tap letting them know "Hey pay attention." That would be about it though.

It's very annoying & I can't do much. I am not an aggressive driver & don't feel confident trying to force the other driver to yield. If I saw another driver break the law, if I had a chance to take down their number plate I would report them. I must admit that if a driver makes agressive hand gestures to me, I make a gesture in return. This is probably not sensible.

I just ignore people if I think they might want to make a gesture. I'm not bold enough for a personal confrontation, even if through glass windshilds. I can only be aggressive with my car.

YES! I hate them. They ruin every trip I take. I get so tired of these people, it seems they want to pull out, within 20 feet of me, and then go 40 miles an hour, in a 55 mph.zone. I start out my day, mad, anyway, because I feel like crap, and I have to get up and go to workhell, anyway, while my husband sits at home on his asss, and then I have to put up with the crap of strangers, for 25 miles there. I don't usually do anything, but curse them to myself, but I'd like to do some of the stuff you mentioned, or maybe all at once. lol

It's especially annoying when they pull out in front of you to turn a few blocks later.
