Heard that this song is written for her elder brother, well, my grandparents on my father's side have all gone away, who I loved so much and gave me a happy childhood before I'm 12 years old. Just wonder if they are watching over me when I'm still living in this world.

I feel confident that my grandparents, who too were so good to me. Are watching over me. and still guiding me. Just recently, going through my old hope chest from my junior and high school days. I ran across an very very old Scrape book(probably at least 30 years old) that My Nan started for me. It really didn't have a lot in it, just a lot of loose end stuff, articles from the newspapers and a few pics. But the very last yellowed old page was a hand written message, written by my Nan. I had never seen this meassage before, but on a particular day that I needed encouragement, there it was. A story about "two frogs that fell in a crock of milk. One perceiving that he was sunk and gave up and drowned without trying to save himself and the other fought and fought and fought, when he would sink to the bottom of the crock he would struggle back up and finally he found himself sitting on a pat of butter at the top of the jar. She stated the moral of the story was if you have the grit, the courage and the perseverence you can fight your way out of your troubles but if you just sit down and wring your hands over your misfortunes you will never rise above them. She went on to say that 9/10 of the successful men anad women in the the country were poor boys and girls who began life at the foot of the ladder, but they had the intelligence, will-power and courage to stand up for what they believed in and stood right back up, after everytime they got knocked down and in the end they found themself sitting at the top." My Nan was not just watching over me, she was encouraging me to keep up the fight, because she knows I deserve and will be sitting at the top with the situations I am currently in. Reading that message was a blessing and I will hold it deeply in my heart and pass it down to my children and their children one day. It's something that NO one can take from me...Like the ring she left for me, that others have stoled from me. It's all personal, meaningful and a reminder, She is right there fighting with me as she always did before. She is not only watching over me, she sees the ones that are abusing me and who has the ring she left for me. So Yes I believe we ALL have someone Watching over us. Just because they are not here with us, doesn't mean they do not continue to guide us.
