I always thought my friends are my chosen family. They are as important to me as my own family. I treat them as if they are my brothers and sisters. Like that of my family, I draw my strength and inspiration from them. How about you?

My friends are my extended family. They knew things about me that my family rarely see or noticed. I do reveal crazier side of me with them.

Actually, when I say chosen family, its not that I chose them over my family. Its more like I chose them to be part of my family. Its like that I wasn't able to choose my mom or my dad or my siblings but with my friends, I chose them to be part of my life, like ny immediate family. =)

I am not saying that you choose them (friends) over your family... :)

Yes I have a friend who brought me into his family after the most precious man in my life passed away, I do think of them as family to a point, although I don't really like to intrude too much.
