i have just bought a VW brasilia(in running condition) from my father's friend. and the price was very friendly indeed, only 20k of our local currency, way much cheaper compared to a brand new 100cc 4-stroke motorcycle. although the exterior has a lot of repairing to do am much concerned with the engine. and yes, you guessed right---of the price i paid-- i did cash out on some minor repairs with the engine like carburator leaks, oil seals, spark plugs, clutch disk, lamps and brake pads to add to those. good thing i found a reliable repair shop whose specialty are with VW cars. having complete parts for every VW need and courteous staff, i am very confident of my ride being sent to them. it still is a long way to go for my brasilia to be back to its original mint state, but that is the fun of having a car, we love making them adorable again and being comfortable at the same time. this being my first car, i love her already, i even named her "ELBY" during her blessing with our local church.
