Does anyone here remember the charities that you use to be able to contribute to by saving bread tags or canned food labels or a variety of other items like that? It was a really good way to make it possible for people who do not have extra money to throw around to still be able to donate to a charity. I would really like to save something to helpa charity but I cannot find anything on the internet to tell me what charities are taking items or what items can be saved for that puspose. Maybe I am just not typing what I want to find into the Google bar correctly or something, I don't know. But anyway, if anyone knows of a charity like this, or which things should be saved, or even better, a website listing charities and the items you can save for them, please tell me.

The best place to start is your local school and churches. If they themselves don't accept the charity, they would know who does in your own community..

Remember the pop can tabs...LOL well apparently it is true. I heard that the Elora branch of the Royal Canadian Legion takes them. But I don't know?
