My husband refuses to buy my son his halloween costume this year because he says he isn't old enough. He made up this lame excuse that when he can say "trick or treat" we can take him trick or treating. Isn't that full of _________! (Sorry for the language but halloween is my favorite holiday and this makes me so mad sometimes).

Well the first year my son was only 6 months so we didnt take him. The next year he was sicker than H*ll so he didnt go. The folowing year my second son was born and we didnt go either. When they were 2 and 4 we took them for the first time. It was alot of fun. I bought stuff I knew they could eat and when we got home I switched out some of the candy for good stuff. They didnt know the diffrence and had a lot of fun. They are going again this year as the black spiderman and a black ninja! Should be fun! I say if you want to take him..Take him. He might not remember but you will.

My son was 9 1/2 months old when he first went Trick or Treating and my daughter will be just over 9 months. I don;t see a problem in taking them out at a young age. They don;t need to go to 100 houses by any means, but what is the harm in taking them out? It is fun for them.
