Learning to french braid! - french braid in hair

It seems like there's almost nothing we can't find on the internet these days and as soon as I think of something I want to do or learn that's the first place I go. My latest search has been on directions to make a french braid in my hair. I was amazed at how many sites have full instructions with pictures to help which is something I definitely need since directions alone wouldn't be good enough for me. Do you go to the internet to get help or directions for things you are interested in? Have you had luck or had to turn to another source for the information?

I totally use it to do things differently. Jessica got these shoes that had about 5 feet of laces attached to it so I went online to find out how to make fancy patterns that will shorten the laces. Also just simple facts about things. Craft ideas, recipes, you name it. We used to have a wall of encyclopedias that were outdated, But now I have all the up to date info and so much more online. Super great!

The instructions and tutorial on the internet are the best reason for using it. I find it much easier to have pictures of what I'm trying to make more than just the words.

With three very active children I find that it is just to hard to make a trip to look up information. The Internet has been a life saver for me. I don't know what I would do without it. Anytime I need to find something out I check on-line for information. My father in law asked if I was taking the children to the Santa Claus train this year, I had never heard of the Santa Claus train so I told him I wasn't sure. He showed me an article about the Train in a magazine but of course it didn't tell you when the event was happening this year. So I looked it up on the Internet. On December 8 at 8 am we will be standing outside for the Santa Train!

Another great reason to use the net. I always look for what's going on in my city and surrounding cities.

Whenever I want to cook something, I look at the internet for recipes. That's my biggest use. Next I use the internet quite a bit for finding uses of recycled items. In the Spring, Summer, and Fall, I use the internet to identify wild plants and their uses. Those are my three continuing interests and the internet has been very valuable for all three of them. Take care

Ofcourse. Without the internet, I would literally be lost. I do everythng on it. I can make money and at the same time look up the things that interest me. When i'm bored or feeling sad I got a friend that will entertain me and not get on my nerves at the same time. Don't get me wrong there's alot of bad, but there's also good on it.

Yes, there is a lot of bad on the internet but most of us only use it for good and know to keep away from those horrible people and sites.

I use the internet for a lot of things, myspace, youtube, getting answers when I need them, and like everyone else, communicate with the outside world. I also use photobucket to upload pictures and sooo much more.

The internet has given me a way to keep in touch with my daughter and grandson in Long Beach, CA. It doesn't cost anything and we use our web cams and microphones to make it a lot more personal than just writing.

The best part is that you get to see the images of what you want to do and I find that awesome and it makes everything so much easier.

The internet is a portable encyclopedia isn't it? I find so much just surfing around. Most times as of late that is, that I want some info I start a discussion here then get great links from friends and other members here. the best I have found in my eyes is a site for the care of caregivers. Thanks for a great discussion also. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

I think the internet is better than an encyclopedia because these old eyes...even with bifocals have a hard time reading anything in a book. The best part of the internet for me is finding step by step instructions for things I want to do. You're welcome for the discussion...of course. Thank you for the response.

I haven't looked up instructions but I have looked up directions to places I want to go.But I guess if I wanted to know how to do something, I would look it up online.

Sometimes I do especially if its computer related. I couldn't get my msn live messenger working yesterday so I followed some instructions I found online and got it to work. I've also searched on how to use our gas fireplace because we were not left any instructions by our landlord on how to use it :) Its amazing what you can find though!

I've had to find instructions for so many things that I own because I tend to throw the manuals away. I'm amazed sometimes that I find what I need.

Yes, ctry, the internet is quite amazing! I am very thankful to have been introduced to it because there is a wealth of information at your fingertips about virtually anything you are interested in. I have learned a lot about using computers since I got on the internet. Many of the things I have learned by trial and error. I also do a lot of research on famous authors that I would like to know more about. I also love to read about places that I am interested in. I think the internet is great.(:

I'm also thankful that the internet came into being during my lifetime. Learning by trial and error is the way I started and I give myself a lot of credit for knowing as much as I do....as you should.

I use the internet for everything. I look up things like "when is the best time to transplant raspberries" to finding a recipe, to looking for help on issues. I think this is going to increase the knowledge of so many people.

Hi ctrymuziklvr. Yes, when I faced some problems and questions I will search my answer from Internet. And, it's great to say that I used to get the information I wish to get. Anyway, of course there are times I am redirected to other source and ended up I have exposed to different information and knowledge. Well, it's great too if I am not rushing for time. Haha.

Well as far as I know Internet is such a big help to many people these days. Whatever they want to know or see they mostly can find it over the Internet. Well recently I found a site that really interests me though this thing has been going on for like a long time ago now. It’s a sort of dating site where you can communicate with others. This I have never ever tried before, although I’m aware of it, because I don’t like chatting and all that but when I found it and give a try, the next time I signed in there was so many people checking out my page and sending me messages as well. And so I started replying and up to now it’s one of the things that I do over the internet.

I am always turning to the Internet to find out how to do different things. My son is home schooled and he gets really really frustrated when he asks me something and I tell him to "look it up". The Internet has a wealth of information at our fingertips. What a great way to explore and learn new things!
