Dear Santa ....... What would you like for Christmas ?

OK so we would all like world peace and a total elimination of all our personal debts but realistically what would you like to find in your Christmas stocking this year? For me it would be some really practical garden gadgets (why can't you buy lawn edging shears in the USA) interesting/amusing garden ornaments, Cadburys Chocolate of course, and something so original I hadn't even thought of it myself (last year hubby got me an Ipod Shuffle which I wear whenever I garden and apart from any passerby thinking I'm crazy singing to myself its been a brilliant gift)
So what are you wishing for?

Actually I have no wish. I just want to be SURPRISED. This is my first Christmas in Finland (I used to live in Indonesia and Christians there celebrated X-mas but we didn't exchange gifts - we just went to church to enjoy Christmas sermon and play and we'd sing X-mas songs). Since it's gonna be my first (hopefully white) X-mas in Finland, the experience is already WONDERFUL for me. I'm looking forward to picking up gifts for my parents-in-law and brother-in-law. I just want to experience white X-mas with my new family. I think it's gonna be a GREAT experience!!!

Yeah, esp. for me who had been a tropical girl all my life. I'd always dreamed of experiencing white X-mas he he he he...;-D

Can agree with you on the joys of a white Christmas , it kind of seals the childhood fantasies of what Christmas is all about (Setting wise) I only remeber one white Christmas in England as an adult so having had two out of three white here in USA has made it that bit more fun . I agree you are probably on a guaranteed white affair in Finand lol
